Cycle-Curious Workshop

Interested in getting into (or back into) cycling as a hobby or sport and don’t know where to start?
The Fort Follies invites all cyclists comfortable in fem spaces, including cis-women, transfemme, and non-binary cyclist to an educational workshop in a supportive environment. This is open to the Fort Collins/Northern Colorado Community!

We will talk through what you need to get started cycling, answer your questions, break a few myths,  and make sure you have what you need to start hitting the trails, or pavement, or gravel.
Topics covered, what do you really need to get started, and what you don’t:

  • Types of bikes

  • Gear and accessories

  • Clothing

  • Fueling your ride

  • Places to ride

  • How to find group rides in town

Come for just the session or stick around afterward for a short, no pressure ride with the group around campus.
If you do bring your bike, Incycle will check your bike and give you a safety estimate if any repairs are required.  If desired, easy repairs can be done during the session so you are ready to join the ride.
